Red Rain (was) falling down

I can't say I'd ever heard of this, but according to an article in the Observer that says studies are being done on " of the strangest incidents in recent meteorological history. On 25 July, 2001, blood-red rain fell over the Kerala district of western India.". the article states that one researcher believes the redness is caused by alien bacteria from a comet. Perhaps our first evidence of alien life.

Perhaps this explains the Peter Gabriel song.
