When I Come Home

My wife's cousin is a retired movie producer and director who, as a former member of both the Marines and Air Force, was concerned that many of our fellow citizens were not truly aware of the personal sacrifices made by those who commit to the service of our country.

So, Bob created When I Come Home as a purely personal statement. In his words, it's an expression of gratitude to the men and women who serve in every branch of our military services --- those who fight, are harmed and die. It honors them and their families who also serve. And wait. And grieve.

The film has gained momentum among friends, colleagues and even complete strangers at a more profound level than Bob anticipated. He has already received letters of thanks from the Joint Chiefs of Staff and from The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer saying how much they appreciated and enjoyed the film.

See the film here. And be very patient with the link. While it's slow to download, it's worth the wait.
